Wackendorf - Schmidt Marriage - 1901

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Wackendorf, at North Buena Vista, on Tuesday morning, occurred the marriage of their daughter Maggie A. and Henry B. Schmidt. The ceremony was performed by Rev. T. J. McCarty, of Holt Cross. After the ceremony a bountiful dinner was served and afterwards the happy couple departed for the west for their honeymoon. On their return they will make their home at Holy Cross, in Dubuque Co. The bride was brought up at Buena Vista while the groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Schmidt, was born and raised at Guttenberg.
