Married - At the residence of the bride's father in Smithfield, March 1st, 1878, by Rev. M. Polley, Mr. Charles Blainchaine, of Postville, and Miss Minnie C. Peglow, of Smithfield.
Charley is not unknown in this section; his people reside between the Colony and Elkport, where Charles had a smacking of historical life. He was two years in the employ of Peterson & Ramage at McGregor, and has been over four years with Bayless & Douglass & Co., at Postville. His hosts of friends in these parts will wish him God-speed in the matrimonial alliance he has formed. He is a good, faithful boy and deserving of a life period of happiness, crowned with joys unspeakable.
Elkader Register, Thur., 14 Mar. 1878.
