At 9:30 Tuesday morning, Sept. 20, 1921, occurred the pretty wedding of Leona Regina Kafer and Martin W. Wiley at St. Joseph's church at Littleport, Iowa. Father Minogue and Father Mertaugh of Edgewood officiating.
The bride was attended by the groom's sister, Miss Irene, while the groom was attended by John Feeney, of Elkader, a friend of both bride and groom. A three course wedding dinner was served to immediate relatives at the bride's home
After a wedding trip to Manchester Ellsworth, Minn., and Madison, S.D., they will be at home to friends in Manchester, until March first, when they will reside on the groom's farm near Littleport.
Those out of town who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wiley, parents of the groom, sisters Irene and Helen Wiley, brothers, Tommy and Charlie Wiley, all of Greeley, Iowa; Mrs. McManus of Ossian, Grandmother of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Tinkers, Greeley; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wiley, Edgewood; and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kafer and family of Elkader, brother of the bride.
