The fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weidemann was celebrated Saturday evening at their home here, a jubilee six o’clock supper being enjoyed by a large number of relatives and friends. The evening hours were spent in visiting, enjoying music and songs and other amusements. Celebration of the jubilee was postponed because of weather conditions a month ago.

Mrs. and Mrs. Weidemann were married at St. John’s Lutheran church in Guttenberg on February 20, 1885, the attendant being Mrs. Elvina Seidel, who is still living in Guttenberg, and John Kluth. The young couple made their home on a farm near here, where they lived until twenty years ago, retiring then to Guttenberg. They are the parents of four children, Henry of Cassville, George and Mrs. Louise Langmann of Guttenberg and Mrs. Christina Napstad of Madison, Wis. There are also twenty grandchildren. Mr. Weidemann is 73 years old and his wife is 69. Both are in good health and look forward to many more anniversaries.

Guests at the celebration Saturday evening included: Messrs Mesdames John Hoppie and daughter Ester of Fairmont, Minn., Glen Hoppie and sons Milford and Marvin of Trumann, Minn., Will Hoppie, sons Arthur and Wayne and daughter Faith of Badger, Iowa, Will Ferris of Dubuque, Lester Lindroth of Rockford, Ill., Elvie Napstad and daughters Mary and Evelyn of Madison, Wis., and Misses Winifred West, Irene and Milred Langmann of Madison, and Clarence Langmann of Madison and Donald Knoght of Chicago, Messrs and Mesdames W.J.F.
