District Court was convened Monday Afternoon by Judge Taylor for the regular May term.

Yesterday afternoon the court room was the scene of an impressive ceremony by which nine aliens became naturalized citizens of the United States. Their names are:

Paul John Haas
Hinrich Koopman
Otto Willie
Gustav Abmeier
Fritz Miene
Knut Halvorson
John Fredrich Christian Funk
Karl Erb
Lazo Haji Harris
Gottfried Gustav Herrman

(Note: Though the article says nine individuals were naturalized, ten individuals were named.)
