Bloomer - Schoentag marriage - 1921

BLOOMER, SCHOENTAG

Last Monday evening at 6:30 o'clock Rev. Fritschel united in marriage Miss Alma Schoentag of this place and Mr. Lloyd Bloomer of Morristown, Minn., in the presence of a large circle of relatives and friends. Promptly after the wedding the couple was congratulated and a sumptuous dinner was served. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Schoentag and here where she was born and raised and has grown to womanhood, she has won for herself many warm friends. The groom is a stranger to us but from what we learn is a prosperous young farmer of Morrostown. Mr. and Mrs. Bloomer left Tuesday morning for Minneapolis where they will spend a few days after which they will take up life's work on a farm at Morristown, Minn. We join with the many friends in extending congratulations.

(Note: The town name Morristown/Morrostown was spelled both ways in the article.)
