A very pretty wedding occurred last Tuesday at high noon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Leonard Gamm in Arlington when their daughter, Miss Bertha M., became the bride of Mr. Benjamin F. Kleinlein of this place. Rev. Chr. Rembold, pastor of the Lutheran church performing the ceremony in the presence of the near relatives. To the Strains of the "Bridal Chorus", played by Miss Lydia Gamm of this place the bridal party descended the stairs. They were attended by by the bride's sister, Miss Alice Gamm, and Arthur Baumgartner. After congratulations a three course dinner was served by the bride's sisters, Mesdames John Burrack and Chas. Schrader. Table waiters were Augusta Kleinlein of this place and Miss Mabel Dalbkermeyer of Dubuque.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Gamm of Arlington where she has always lived and gained friends with all whom she came in contact with. The Groom is a son of A. Kleinlein of this place and is a hard working young man and the bride has made no mistake in her life partner. During the World's War he saw active service overseas. After a short honeymoon with relatives at Dubuque and Elroy, Wis., they will be at home to their host of friends on the Dr. F. H. Howard farm.
