Pugh - Kamper marriage - 1935

Cox Creek: The marriage of Miss Melrose Kamper of Lamont and Homer Pugh of Strawberry Point occurred at Dubuque December 1st. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. P. Sandrock of the St. John Evangelical Lutheran church. Miss Kamper is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kamper of Lamont and Mr. Pugh is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Pugh of near Strawberry Point.

They were attended by Miss Myrtle Kamper, a sister of the bride, and Paul Kinyon of Oelwein. The bride is a graduate of the Aurora high school of the class of 1935 and the groom graduated from the Strawberry Point high school with the class of 1934.

A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride's parents to the near relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Pugh expect to make their home in Waterloo.
