Luana: Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Lutheran parsonage, the Rev. H. P. Kumpf united in marriage Miss Sylvia Jacobson of Monona and Elmer Landt, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Landt of route one, Luana, using the double ring ceremony. Miss Ruth Jacobson, sister of the bride, and Helmuth Landt, cousin of the groom, were witnesses. Friday evening a miscellaneous shower was tendered Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Landt in the Luana opera hhouse. A large crowd attended bringing many pretty and useful gifts.
