Engelhardt - Embretson marriage - 1935

St. Olaf: The marriage of Miss Adelia Embretson, daughter of Mrs. Belle Embretson, and Alonzo Engelhardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Engelhardt of St. Olaf, was performed at the Norway church Thursday afternoon, Dec. 5th, at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiated at the double ring ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Erva Engelhardt, sister of the groom, as maid of honor, Miss Alma Rugland as bridesmaid, and Mr. Orvin Embretson, brother of the bride, as best man.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's mother. Those present at the diner in addition to the bride and groom and their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Engelhardt and son Wendall; Mr. and Mrs. Ole L. Embretson and Ragna; Nels Embretson; Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Embretson; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Engelhardt; Mr. and Mrs. Aden Embretson.

The happy couple left the same evening for a honeymoon trip to Cedar Rapids. Their many friends wish them much joy and happiness throughout their journey in life.
