Blount - Rowedder marriage - 1935

BLOUNT, ROHWEDDER, LIGHT

A very quiet wedding ceremony took place Sunday, December 1, at high noon, at the Evangelical Lutheran church of Our Redeemer, when Miss Melva Rohwedder, daughter of Mrs. F. A. Light of Strawberry Point, and Burl R. Blount, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ora Blount of Auburn, Neb., were united in marriage. The Rev. E. L. Stuempfig officiated at the service. Attendants to the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn B. Olson.

Mr. and Mrs. Blount will make their home here, Mr. Blount being employed in the Phillips service station, east of town.
