McDowell - Troester marriage - 1935

MCDOWELL, TROESTER

Guttenberg: Miss Emma Troester, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Troester of Millville township, and Thomas McDowell, son of Mrs. J. McDowell of Mallory township, were married by the Rev. C. A. Jacobi at St. Paul's United Lutheran parsonage here Wednesday morning of last week.

Following the ceremony, a reception was tendered the newlyweds at the home of the bride's parents.

The bride is a graduate of Guttenberg high school.. For the past several years she has been teaching in the rural schools of Clayton County. The bridegroom is one of Clayton County's young farmers.

The couple will live on a farm in Mallory township, and their numerous friends wish them a long and happy wedded life.
