Eidahl - Davis marriage - 1935

Strawberry Point: A very pretty August wedding took place at the F. E. Davis home Thursday, when their daughter, Miss Dorothy, became the bride of Wendell L. Eidahl of St. Ansgar. Rev. Whitmore Beardsley, pastor of the Congregational church, performed the single ring ceremony. Mrs. W. H. Hansen, of Holstein, was maid of honor and W. H. Hansen was best man.

The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. Davis. After graduating from the local public school with the class of 1925, she attended and graduated from the Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. For the past few years she has been music supervisor in the public school at Holstein. The groom is a son of Mrs. O. C. Eidahl of St. Ansgar. Following his graduation he attended and graduated from the U.I.U. at Fayette. He has been coach in the Holstein public school. Mr. and Mrs. Eidahl will make their home at Holstein.
