MRS. AND MRS ALVRON STONE

EDGEWOOD, Ia. – An open house Sunday is being planned by Mr. and Mrs. Alvron Stone of Edgewood in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The reception, to which friends and neighbors are invited, will be given in the Edgewood Methodist Church parlors from 2 to 4 p.m. It will be preceded by a potluck dinner at the church for close relation.

The Stones (Mrs. Stone is the former Maude Beddow) were married July 8, 1908 in Edgewood and have spent most of their lives here. Mr. Stone has been a barber for 53 years and has worked in Manchester, Oelwein and Minneapolis as well as Edgewood.

He is still active in the trade.
