So far this month, June, the month of brides, has produced four marriage licenses. These, together with two the last three days of May, provides a total of six since the last publication of the Register. They are as follows:
May 29 - John P. Moore, 23, and Viola Tettgather, 22, both of Dubuque.
May 31 - Max A. Gerber, 24, and Florence Hand, 27, both of Elkader.
June 1 - Donald F. Henkes, 22, Farmersburg, and Iva Topel, 21, of Monona.
June 3 - Otto Fascher, 25, Farmersburg, and Ardee Le Hew (LeHew ??), 25, McGregor.
June 3 - John F. Kuehl, Jr., 28, Elkport, and Mildred Dahl, 24, St. Olaf.

June 5 - Miles N. Cardin, 23, Marquette, and Harriet Mae Ellenbolt, 19, McGregor.
June 5 - Earl Pettit, 21 Prairie du Chien, and Helen Marie Ellenbolt, 19, McGregor.
June 10 - Roy R. Russow, 28, St. Olaf, and Selma C. Thompson, 22, St. Olaf.
June 10 - Lawrence Loetz, 21, and Edna Grimstead, 20, both of McGregor.
June 10 - Donald Kraus, 24, and Mardell L. Hildebrand, 19, both of Edgewood.

Clerk of Courts G. H. Meyer did something last Monday which has not been done in this county in the last fifty years if it has been done at all in the history of the county. He issued a marriage license to his own daughter, Ruth, who became the bride of Raymond G. Ruegnitz that same day.

June 15 - Johnnie Hanson, 24, and Jannette Behrens, 21, both of Cedar Falls.
June 15 - Arnold N. Bender, 32, Waterloo, and Genevieve Meshling, 22, McGregor.
June 17 - Raymond G. Ruegnitz, 25, Elkport, and Ruth A. Meyer, 22, Elkader.
