Groth - Wille marriage - 1935

Elkport: At four o'clock, Saturday afternoon, the marriage of Miss Velma Wille, daughter of Mrs. Emma Wille, and Ernest Groth, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Groth, took place at Elkader. Rev. Kitterer performed the double-ring ceremony. They were attended by Otto Groth, brother of the groom, and Mrs. Laura Hansel, sister of the bride. They will go to housekeeping on a farm near Elkport. In the evening a wedding dance and shower was held at the farm home of the groom, with approximately 200 in attendance.
