Stence - Cords marriage - 1935

STENCE, CORDS

Miss Murrel Cords, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cords of Clayton, and Francis Stence, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stence of Elkader, were married by the Very Rev. J. P. Taken in St. Joseph's Catholic church Thursday morning, February 14, at 9:30 o'clock.

Attending the couple were the groom's sister, Miss Helen Stence, and the bride's brother, Arnold Cords.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served in the home of the bride's parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Stence will be ready to receive their friends in their country home after March 1.
