Harbaugh - Brown marriage - 1934

A pretty wedding was solemnized at the parsonage at Fairview Monday evening, Dec. 31, 1934, by the Rev. T. J. Zike, when Miss Ora Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Brown, of Fairview, became the bride of Willis Harbaugh, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harbaugh of near Osterdock. The attendants were Mrs. Zike and Miss Audrey Zike. The bride was attired in a dark blue gown with accessories to match, and the groom wore a dark grey suit. The bride was graduated from the Colesburg high school in 1927, after which she attended summer school at Cedar Falls. The groom is an industrious farmer on his parents' farm near Osterdock, where the couple will make their home. Best wishes are extended by their many friends.
