The marriage of Miss Jean Duff to Charles Hoskyns, both of this place, came as a surprise to their many friends here. The ceremony took place at Arlington, Monday, December 31, and was performed by the Rev. A. B. Chamberlain.

They were attended by Miss Dorothy Hoskyns, sister of the groom, and James Duff, brother of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Duff. She attended the rural grade school and was a graduate of the local high school in 1930. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Hoskyns, also a graduate with the class of 1930. For the past three years he has been engaged in rice farming with his brother in Arkansas.

The new home will be made in Stuttgardt, Arkansas. They plan to leave some time in February for their new home.
