Miss Hazel Entwisle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Entwisle, Elkader, and Ray Koehn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koehn, Farmersburg, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, in Peace Evangelical and Reformed church at Elkader. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Bonnie Jean Entwisle, sister of the bride, was maid of honor; Mrs. Merle Freeman, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. Best man was Milford Koehn and groomsman was Leo Koehn, both brothers of the bridegroom. Ushers were Margaret Entwisle, sister of the bride, and Dick Koehn, brother of the bridegroom.
According to tradition the bride wore for her "something old" a gold locket given her by her grandmother, the late Mrs. John Walker.
A 6:30 dinner was served that evening at the home of the bride's parents to 27 relatives of the couple. Waitresses were Lenora Mae Possehl and Margaret Entwisle. A shower was held that evening at Guttenberg.
After a short wedding trip the couple will be at home on a farm near St. Olaf some time in December.
