Miss Corrine Rae Klingman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Klingman of Strawberry Point, became the bride of Kenneth D. Roys, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Roys of Arlington, Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the St. Sebald Lutheran church when the Rev. Robert Glaser performed the double ring ceremony.
Jean Roys, sister of the bridegroom, and Merlin Klingman, brother of the bride, served as attendants for the couple.
A reception for the immediate families was held in the Ray Klingman home immediately following the ceremony. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Roys and family, Arlington; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Longmuir and sons, the Rev. and Mrs. Robert Glaser and Elaine, Strawberry Point; and three grandfathers, John Probert, Volga, Ben Roys, Arlington, and C. M. Klingman, Volga.
Following the reception the couple left on a short wedding trip to points in Illinois and Minnesota. They have rented the Wm. Hoskyn farm and will begin farming there March 1.
