Wright - Mentzel marriage - 1924

This afternoon, 3:00 o'clock, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus. Mentzel, occurred the marriage of their daughter Ameta to Valnah Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Wright of Farmersburg township. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. H. Franke, pastor of the Evangelical church, in the presence of the nearest relatives. The young couple will go to housekeeping on the Mentzel farm south of Elkader and their many friends wish them happiness and success.
