Glawe - Lembke marriage - 1924

The marriage of Miss Lucy L. Lembke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lembke, of Read township, to Mr. Lawrence J. Glawe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Glawe, also of Read township, occurred at the home of the bride's parents last Wednesday evening at 6:00 o'clock.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Wm. Wuestenberg, pastor of the Zions Lutheran church at Clayton Center, in the presence of only the nearest relatives.

The young couple will go to housekeeping on the bride's father's farm in Read township and their many friends wish them a long happy journey through life.

Elkader Register, Thur., 15 May 1924.
