Last Wednesday evening at the German church occurred a very pretty wedding when Miss Vera Alderson became the bride of Mr. Alfred Weig. The bride carried a bouquet of bridal roses. The ring ceremony of the Lutheran church was used, Rev. G. Fritschel officiating. They were attended by Miss Zelda Miller, a cousin of the groom, and Murle Alderson, brother of the bride. The wedding march was played by the groom's sister, Mrs. Fred Bierrer. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Alderson. She received her education in the rural schools and later attended the public school where she graduated and took up teaching for a while. Her friends are found everywhere. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Phin Weig and is a young man with good habits and we no doubt feel sure he will make as successful a farmer as his father. Mr. and Mrs. Weig went to housekeeping at once on the groom's father's farm. May roses be strewn along their pathway of life is the wish of their many friends.
