Somner - Steeman marriage - 1924

Tuesday afternoon, February 12th, at 1:00 o'clock at the Evang. parsonage, Rev. Franke united in marriage Miss Alice Steeman, daughter of Matthew Steeman of Elkader, Iowa, to Albert Somner, of this place. The double ring ceremony was used in the presence of Henry Steeman and Johanna Roeben. The young couple will go to housekeeping on the Downey farm northeast of Elkader. Their many friends wish them a long and happy wedded life.
