Ortman - Lindenburg marriage - 1906

August Ortman and Bertha Lindenburg, two of our most prominent and popular young people, were married at Guttenburg, Wednesday. We all extend congratulations and best wishes.

At St. John's Lutheran church, in this city, at 2:00 o'clock p.m. Wednesday, August Ortman and Bertha Lindenberg, two of Elkport's prominent young people, were united in marriage by Rev. J. Janzig. The attendants of the couple during the ceremony were Henry Ortman, brother of the groom, and Tillie Lindenberg, sister of the bride. After the ceremony the bridal party returned to Elkport, where a reception was accorded friends in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ortman will soon take possession of the farm owned and now occupied by the groom's parents near Elkport.
