The marriage of Mary E. Meier, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nic. Meyer, of this city, and George Vogt, of Dubuque, was solemnized at St. Mary's Catholic church by Rev. Father J. H. Brinkman, at 9:00 o'clock Tuesday morning. The bride and groom were attended during the ceremony by Teresa Vogt, sister of the groom, and Edward C. Meier, brother of the bride. The event was witnessed by relatives and a large number of friends of the couple. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents to a number of invited guests and the afternoon and evening was devoted to receiving and entertaining friends. Mr. and Mrs. Vogt will reside in Dubuque, where they will go to housekeeping at once.
