On Wednesday, Oct. 24, 1906, at 4 p.m., occurred a pretty wedding at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. E. W. Wirkler, in this city, Miss Levina Wirkler was united in marriage to George Bothel. The ceremony took place under an arch of autumn leaves, performed by Rev. Wappler. Huldah Kaiser played the wedding march. After congratulations the guests were invited to the dining room to partake of a bountiful supper, which was served by Misses Matilda and Ella Kaiser. The bride was dressed in plain white silk and the groom wore conventional black. A host of friends in Monona wish them a long and prosperous wedded life. They will be at home to friends in the Farley residence after November 1st.
