Groth - Overbeck marriage - 1906

The marriage of John Groth, of near Elkport, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Groth, and Lizzie Overbeck, of Guttenberg, eldest daughter of Wm. Overbeck, was solemnized at St. John's Lutheran church here at 3:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by Rev. J. Janzig. After the ceremony the couple drove over to the home of the groom's parents, where a reception was given friends in the evening. Congratulations are extended Mr. and Mrs. Groth by their friends.
