Downey - Harding marriage - 1906

At. St. Joseph's church at Elkader, Tuesday morning, occurred the marriage of James Downey, of Garnavillo twp., and Miss Agnes Harding, of Boardman twp. Rev. J. F. Reilly officiated in the presence of a number of relatives and friends of the contracting parties. Frank Nugent served as best man and Miss Lizzie Harding as bridesmaid. After the ceremony the bridal party proceeded to the home of the bride's mother, where a reception and wedding dinner was had. Mr. and Mrs. Downey will be at home on the Downey homestead in Garnavillo twp. We extend congratulations.
