Leon Libby and Lizzie Steckelberg were married at Oelwein Feb. 27th, by Rev. Morley. These young people are well known in this vicinity. Miss Steckelberg is a successful teacher in the schools at Oelwein. She was a teacher in our public schools a few years ago. She is a charming young lady in every respect. The groom is well known by the whole community, having been raised here in our midst. He is the son of J. W. Libby, of this city. He was a soldier in the Spanish-American War and was a member of Gridley's Rough Riders. He is a gentleman who is much liked by all who knew him and was very popular among his friends. He is express messenger at present between Oelwein and Kansas City. Their many friends wish them a happy and prosperous life
