Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., at the home of G. L. Keehner and wife occurred the marriage of their eldest daughter, Amanda Marguerite, to John Henry Seekatz, of Gaysville, Wis. To the strains of a Wedding Fanfare, which was rendered on the piano by Carrie Wirkler, the bridal couple, attended by Amelia Keehner, of Potosi, and Walda Keehner, a brother of the bride, entered the parlor where the nuptuals took place, Rev. Braun officiating. The bride was very neatly attired in a gown of white silk and carried cream colored roses, and the bridesmaid was also in white, while the groom and best man wore the customary and satisfying black. The bride possesses excellent qualities for both social and domestic enjoyment and is highly regarded by her friends. The groom comes to us well recommended and is a very successful travelling salesman for nursery stock. They leave today on a two months honeymoon, during which time they will visit relatives in Wisconsin and Northern Iowa. Congratulations and best wishes for the good fortune they most desire on their journey through life. Christ Keehner and wife, Frank Keehner and Amelia Keehner, of Potosi, Henry Seekatz and wife, of Wisconsin, were in attendance from abroad.
