At the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. E. Winkley, at high noon, Monday, Dec. 25th, 1905, by Rev. H. Williams, pastor of the M.E. church, Anne Elizabeth McClelland, of Monona, and George Leavant Harronn, of Watseka, Ill. Only a few of the intimate friends were present to witness the union of these two hearts. It was a quiet, pretty wedding. The bride was attended by her sister, Jean McClelland. The bride is the eldest daughter of P. W. McClelland and grand daughter of Mrs. E. Winkley. She was born and grew to womanhood here in Monona, and naturally we all take pride in her well doing. The groom is associated in a law office at Chicago and is a man of marked ability, steady and industrious.
Elkader Register, Thur., 4 Jan. 1906. Monona column.
