Foran - Donlan marriage - 1883

Married- At the Catholic church, Elkader, on Thursday, Nov. 29th, occurred the marriage of Thomas Foran, of Boston, Mass., to Miss Ellen M. Donlan, of Highland township. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Quigley, in his usual happy manner, in the presence of a number of the friends and relatives of the high contracting parties. A reception was held last evening at the residence of the bride's parents in Highland, where many gathered to extend their congratulations to the newly wedded pair. May the life so auspiciously begun, continue unclouded till death parts them, is the wish of the Register.
