Maker - Huggart, marriage 1882

Two weddings have recently startled our citizens. The first was that of Mr. Albert Maker and Miss Nettie Huggart.

This event transpired some time ago but was divulged and the usual amount of cigars distributed, only last week. It seems that one moonlight evening they journeyed silently and alone to the domicile of a justice and there with the blue canopy of Heaven above them, the stern visage of the justice before them, and the watchful glance of the house dog behind them, they were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, thus together to go forth and fight life's battles and at last receive that reward laid up for those who are faithful unto the end.
