Elkader Register, Fri., 22 Dec. 1882.

Married- At the residence of the bride's mother, at St. Olaf, on the evening of December 17th, 1882, by Rev. Mr. Schneider, Mr. John J. Liming to Miss Mary E. Coates, both of Wagner township.

The ceremony uniting this couple in the holy bonds of matrimony was performed in the presence of a few intimate friends, after which came the usual congratulations.

The groom is a son of Mrs. J. B. Shelhamer, and is a steady, industrious young man, highly respected by all who know him.

The bride is one of Wagner's fairest daughters, and has a large circle of friends who will wish her and her husband many years of peaceful, prosperous wedded life.
