Elkader Register, Fri., 12 May 1882.
Married - At the residence of the bride, in Elkader, On May 9th, 1882, by S. K. Adams, J.P., Mr. George Stich, of Decorah, to Mrs. Theresa Reuther, of Elkader.
The ceremony was performed in the presence of a number of the intimate friends of the bride and groom, and after the usual congratulations refreshments were served. A number of valuable presents were brought by the guests.
The groom is a resident of Decorah, but was formerly a resident of Clayton county, and is said to be a gentleman in every respect. The bride has lived in Elkader a number of years, and has a large circle of friends who will wish her and her husband great happiness.
Mr. and Mrs. Stich will make Elkader their future home. One of the pleasant features of the evening was the serenade by the Cornet Band.
