Elkader Register, Fri., 23 June 1882.

At the Catholic church at Elkader, on June 21st, 1882, by Rev. Father Quigley, Mr. Joseph Downie to Miss Anna Gipson.

At the same time and place, by Rev. Father Quigley, Mr. George Gipson to Miss Kate A. Downie.

After the ceremony and after receiving the congratulations of many friends the party took a carriage to Clayton, from whence they go to Jenny, Wis., their future home.
