Elkader Register, Fri., 13 Oct. 1882.

Married- At the residence of Charles Lendth, in Farmersburg township, on the 6th inst., by the Rev. Mr. Summerland, Mr. John Lendth to Miss Carolina Rothe, both of Giard township.

The ceremony uniting these two persons for life, was performed in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. after the ceremony, congratulations were tendered the happy couple, and they were also made the recipients of a number of useful and ornamental presents.

The Register joins with their hosts of friends in wishing them a very pleasant and profitable married life, may they never have cause to regret the step they have taken, but always look to this event as the one bright and important point of their life.
