On Thursday last at the M.E. parsonage, McGregor, occurred the marriage of Mr. John W. Stoops to Miss Martha E. Atwood, all of Boardman township, Rev. J. A. Kerr, tying the knot.

These young people are well and favorably known in Elkader, having resided just in the suburb of town nearly all their lives and have a host of warm friends who will unite with the Register in wishing them untold years of happy wedded life.
