Peterman - Palmer marriage - 1883

At the residence of Mr. John Palmer in Elkader, on last Sabbath, occurred a very pleasant event, being the marriage of his daughter Fannie J., to Mr. Solomon Peterman, of Highland township.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. S. McIntyre, in the presence of the family and a few intimate friends, and after congratulations and a bountiful repast, they started for the groom's residence in Highland township.

Both are well known in Elkader, and are highly respected for their many excellent qualities, and they will have the best wishes of all for a long, happy and prosperous wedded life. The Register extends its congratulations.
