At the Catholic church in Elkader, on Wednesday, was performed that ceremonial that unites two loving hearts "until death does them part." The high contracting parties on this occasion were Robert F. Quinn, son of Robert Quinn, of Cox Creek township, and Miss Hannah, daughter of C. Ryan, of Elkader.
Quite a number of friends and immediate relatives were present at the ceremony, which was followed by hearty congratulations from all.
The groom is well known in this vicinity; is an honest upright young man and has the best wishes of all who know him, for a pleasant wedded life. The bride was raised in Elkader, and has a large circle of friends, drawn to her by her many ladylike qualities, and her gentle manners. She will have none but the best wishes for her future happiness. The Register tenders its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Quinn, and wishes for them a life unclouded by care or sorrow. They received many valuable and useful presents, but our space is too limited to admit of their publication.
Elkader Register, Fri., 20 April 1883.
