On Thursday, July 30, at the home of the bride, near Clayton, occurred the marriage of Mathilda Maker to Henry Peterson, of this place. The ceremony took place at 6 o'clock, Justice C. W. Bothmer tying the knot. The bride was attired in cream silk mull and carried bride's roses. She was attended by her sister Gusta, who was attired in pink silk mull. The groom and his best man, Peter Peterson, wore the conventional black. Immediately after the ceremony a dainty wedding supper was served to the relatives and a few choice guests. They will be at home after Sept. 1st at 141 Center St., Chicago. May their life be crowned with happiness.
