Smith - Sloan marriage - 1903

Last Tuesday at the home of the groom's parents, Albert Smith and wife, occurred the marriage of their eldest son Lynn to Mabel, eldest daughter of Geo. Sloan and wife, Rev. O. C. DePuy officiating. As Addie Dunning was playing the wedding march the couple marched into the beautiful parlor where the ceremony was performed in the presence of relatives. A wedding dinner was served and in the evening they left for Cedar Rapids to attend the carnival. We wish them a happy and prosperous married life.
