Elkader Register, Fri., 7 Apr. 1882.

Married - At Clayton Center, on March 31st., 1882, by Rev. F. W. Seifert, Mr. Henry Knodt to Miss Mary Eggert, all of Grand Meadow twp.

This young couple have the best wishes of the entire Register force for a long and happy wedded life. May the dark clouds of sorrow never cross their path.
