Burr - Keppler Marriage 1936

Miss Mary Keppler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keppler of Jefferson township, and Mrs. (Mr.) William Burr, son of Mrs. Peter Burr of this place, were married by the Rev. H. Scharphoff at St. Joseph's Catholic church at Garnavillo on Tuesday morning at 8:00 o'clock in the presence of relatives and friends. The couple was attended by Miss Olive Burr, sister of the bridegroom, and Mr. Leo Keppler, brother of the bride. After the marriage ceremony at the church a reception was tendered the couple at the home of the bride's parents at which a number of relatives participated. A wedding dinner was served. The bride attended the Boniface schools at New Vienna. The bridegroom attended St. Mary's schools here. Mr. and Mrs. Burr will reside in Guttenberg and the best wishes of a host of friends go with them on their journey through life.
