Bothel - Downing Marriage 1903

A happy event occurred Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Downing, south east of town. Their only daughter, Emma Irene, was united in marriage to Mr. Harry L. Bothel. As Miss Hannah Wilson played the wedding march the bride and groom led by Rev. W. N. Brown took their places beneath a pretty arch made of evergreen and autumn leaves with a background of beautiful flowers. The words were spoken that made them husband and wife, witnessed by over one hundred invited guests.
