Karberg-Weiner, marriage 1871

Married on January 12th, 1871, at the residence of the bride’s parents, in Guttenberg, by J.P. Krieber, J.P., Mr. Hermann Karberg and Miss Kate Weiner, all of Clayton County, Iowa.

Our friend Kriebs never married a couple upon whom the good wishes of the community were more liberally showered than upon them. We, too, congratulate, and heartily welcome them in our midst.

Kate is one of Guttenberg’s most accomplished daughters, and happy must be our excellent friend Hermann, in having secured so valuable a prize. Good luck to them, now, henceforth, and forever.
