CONNELY, CONNELLY, CONLEY, STODDARD

Marriage Party – A very pleasant affair came off Thursday, at the residence of Mr. Connely, four miles north of Buena Vista, Clayton County, in celebrating the marriage of Mr. Chas. Connelly to Miss Delia Stoddard, both of Buena Vista.

The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. William Stoddard, a former resident of Dubuque, now a respected and prominent citizen of Clayton county.

After the marriage ceremony was performed by Father Maloney, of Holy Cross, the bridegroom took his bride home, where they were met and congratulated by a host of friends – over four hundred invited guests sitting down to the marriage feast. We wish the happy pair all manner of joy and prosperity, and may they live many years to celebrate the day that made them one.
