At Strawberry Point on Wednesday, June 4th, occurred the marriage of Mr. Oscar Davis and Miss Lena Hines. The groom is a young business man of that place, while the bride has been one of the successful teachers in the town school. May the best of good luck and prosperity attend them, is the wish of their Elkader friends.

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Nace last Wednesday morning occurred the marriage of Lena Hines to Oscar Davis, Rev. O. C. DePuy officiating. The bride has always lived here and is a graduate of the class of 1893. Besides teaching a number of terms of country school she has taught the second primary room of our public school for eight years, giving good satisfaction. The groom is a clerk in Pollard's store, and is a prosperous young business man with good qualities and habits. Both have many friends who unit with us in wishing them a long and happy life.
